"Choose Your Own Plot"

We're all busy people tugging in different directions, so it's hard for us to collaborate on any ongoing projects. This "jam" story is one tailor-made for us. It's inspired by the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books, and gives us each the freedom to contribute as much or as little as we have time for, and to take the story in whatever directions we want.

The rules are few and simple: Each participating cartoonist produces a "page" of story (whatever size and shape they want), ending with a choice of which direction the plot will take from there. Then two different cartoonists will each take one of the choices, and continue the story in that direction. Eventually each of the story lines will reach a conclusion, when somebody decides its time finish their page with an actual ending. (Or maybe they won't, and it will end up running longer than Cerebus.)
